Lady Boys!

On a side note, for those of you who don't know what a Lady Boy is, it's a very very common phenomenon in Thailand, (and we've seen a few in Bali too).  Basically, it's a man, who has become a woman, most of them have had boob jobs and look legit like a woman.  They call them "Lady Boys" here. I knew a guy before we left who was saying that these Lady Boys were beautiful... I wasn't sure if I believed him, as a lot of the drag queens that you see on western TV, or the transvestites that you see around, look just like boys dressed like girls, they have more masculine features w/ a strong jaw etc.  But there are lots of cabarets here and Lockey and I didn't even realize that all of these actresses were actually lady boys!  Very convincing... (There are still a few who unfortunately don't pull it off as well).

Anyways, now that you have the background....

So before we went for ice-cream, after our Muy Thai day, We went for another Thai massage.  Lockey had decided that he wanted the oil massage this time.  So this little Thai girl got everything set up, drew the curtains etc so that we had some privacy, then told us to take off our clothes... So we did, and then laid face down on the little mattresses... then our masseuses came in (The little Thai girl and another girl who we hadn't met yet)... And they started massaging... And I looked over and noticed that, yes..... you guessed it.... Lockey's masseuse was none other than a lady boy.... I almost got the giggles... I couldn't help it... it was so unexpected!!! And Lockey had been face down, so had NO idea that he was getting an oil massage from a lady boy.... I joked w/ him after wards that I was the one who had a "happy ending" after that massage, as I was laughing about it w/ him afterwards....

BUT to Lockey's credit, he was a great sport about it.  He said that he could tell that this was a "big" girl, and kind of figured it out while he was getting a massage, but that at first he was kind of uncomfortable w/ it, but that then he decided that this person was professional, and just doing their job, and that it was fine.  So it was no big deal, but still made me giggle a bit at first! :)
